This Barbera on the nose presents notes of raspberries and dark fruit such as dark cherry and plum. Grapes were sourced from two different vineyards to make this wine. Cultural practices in the vineyards are consistent in that they are all thinned, crop thinned, leaves pulled on the north side of the vine and are trained on a vertical position trellis system.

"Marandy", is the historic name of the area where these vineyards are planted. The climate is hot and dry in the summer and mild during the other seasons. Syrah is perfectly adapted to this terroir. The wine expresses a rustic character and honest fruit, with notes of raspberry and spices.

The Lalande-de-Pomerol of Château des Tourelles is a red wine from the region of Lalande-de-Pomerol in Bordeaux. Clear pale ruby colour. The nose has pronounced intensity youthful aromas of cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, vanilla and a hint of liquorice. The colour is ruby red with purples highlights. The nose is full-flavoured and very attractive on fruit (fresh strawberry jam), softly spiced.
